TRIPLE CROWN CA/AZ “STAY TO PLAY” EVENTS Triple Crown Sports CA/AZ works with a wide variety of lodging partners in our tournament locations to secure excellent lodging rates for all participants and to ensure sufficient rooms for all attending teams. Through our lodging program, all out-of-town teams book their rooms through TCS Lodging Partners and receive the best rates at a variety of hotels. You must book your rooms by clicking on Lodging and then Lodging Partners on the tournament page for the tournament you are playing in.. Teams must book their rooms through our website. Once you have booked your rooms with one of our partner hotels, you must enter your reservations online in the TCS Team Lodging Reservation Form. Please note: Any reservations booked outside the TCS lodging partner link on our website will not fulfill your room requirements. Local Teams Teams within a 75 mile drive radius may request a WAIVER on the lodging policy. Please email the tournament director. Alternative Lodging Requests If your team requests to stay outside the TCS Lodging Program (i.e. RV Park, nearby relatives) please contact the TCS office to discuss this. Since the lodging program has already been discounted from our tournament fees, teams that request alternative lodging may incur a lodging surcharge of $200 if the drive radius is over 75 miles Policies • To be bracketed in the (Parade of Lights), your teams must fit into one of these categories: • Traveling over 75 miles, stay with a TCS lodging partner inside of the group block for a minimum of 12 room nights (6 hotel rooms / 2 nights). Teams must fill in the lodging report on the website to report their rooms booked • Pay the Lodging Surcharge • Request and receive an exception to the Lodging Program where the team will incur one of the lodging surcharges listed above. • Qualify as a local team based within a 75 mile drive radius of the event, thus being exempt from the lodging policy.
